Whoa, it was hot this weekend. Special lady was in town and we really made an effort not to make an effort. Weather was so nice Saturday that we strolled up to the /pawk /with everyone else in the city, got some disappointment at the Museum of Natural History and some iPhone goodness at the main Apple tabernacle on 5th. We had Japanese/Peruvian fusion at Kion with Gleb and Yen (not pictured) and then ended up at some crazy Tribeca film festival after party via Joshua, before hitting the hay.
Sidenote: Fusion places usually don't live up to your expectations and this was no exception. I unfairly expected the whole to be tastier than the sum of the parts but I actually found the food at this place to be slightly worse than enjoying each cuisine separately.
Today, all we did was go to Chez Lola for brunch. It is definitely worth the trip out to Brooklyn. It was so good I am still thinking about it now. Did nothing after that and enjoyed it. Girlfriend left at 6pm at which point I quietly resigned myself to just studying CFA for the next 3 weeks straight. Pretty lame.
