Hat tip to Kingston Kobain, I finally saw True Romance last night and it is definitely the best movie I've seen in a long while (and I just watched Sling Blade for the first time last week). While the poster says its a Tony Scott film, the Tarantino just bleeds right out of it. It is QT's first screenplay for a major motion picture. The plot is part love story part drug/gangster crime flick. The cast is insanely good: Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Dennis Hopper, Christopher Walken, Brad Pitt, Samuel L. Jackson, James Gandolfini and Val Kilmer. Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight) provides a really cool sound track. Here is the main theme on xylophone I think - If you are a fan of Pulp Fiction or Resevoir Dogs , True Romance needs to go right to the front of your queue if you haven't seen it yet.
