I hit up this spot last night for Boutros' NYC reunion dinner.  Didn't take any pictures, it just wasn't that kinda night.

Very good cocktails (I tried the Ameila and the Ginger Smash) and very good food.  I had this Rainbow Trout which had a salad with smoked trout in it.  Trout on trout.  Very tasty.

Pizza Night II

Our second pizza night resulted in another masterful creation.  I have to say that this pizza stone is one of my greatest investments ever.  Toppings this time included red/green bell peppers, red onions, mushrooms, olives and veggie sausage.  Pizza was accompanied by some tasty Samuel Smith's beers, specifically the Nut Brown Ale and the Oatmeal Stout.

Afterward, we enjoyed us a little Ken Burns documentary action.  We watched the first episode of his The National Parks series which is airing on PBS this week.  Here is the extended preview:

Congratulations Mom & Dad on 30 years!

This weekend, my siblings and I surprised my parents with a family dinner in downtown West Palm Beach to celebrate their upcoming 30th wedding anniversary.  The restaurant, Top of the Point, occupies the top floor of the Phillips Point building.  The view from up there includes the Intercoastal, the Atlantic, Palm Beach Island and The Breakers Hotel, where my parents spent their wedding night.  The food, wine and dessert were all excellent but their favorite part must have been having everyone together from out of town or possibly the new 47" TV we got them.  : )
