Boats and Houseboats

Here are some pictures of my last trip to Seattle at the end of July.  My girlfriend, her brother, her mom and I all went out on her mom's boyfriend, Charlie's boat.  This was the Friday before Seafair weekend so the Blue Angels were roaring and soaring above us.  We took the boat down the Sound to the Duwamish River to check out this super cool houseboat.  As you can see, this houseboat is very modern and its open layout was designed to accommodate full-size rooms, ceilings and appliances.  I don't think I would want to live on a houseboat, but if I had to, this would be the houseboat for me. 

It was such a nice day for Seattle.  We had a little picnic on the boat and got back in time to catch up with a couple of my old roommates for happy hour.  Remembering that weekend makes me yearn to move back.  I guess someday I will...
